We require an energetic, motivated, and career-minded Software Developer to act as the technical implementation specialist for multi-department projects creating solutions that meet business needs. You will be responsible for designing and publishing fully functioning reporting services and web applications which meet executive and department goals. Your contributions to the team:

  • Design, code, and test features in collaboration with other members of the IT team and our Business Intelligence department to deliver complex financial and operational reports
  • Configuration, customization and application support of database driven ERPs
  • Support data mining and migration using SQL
  • Design, implement and maintain MSSQL databases supporting company-wide reporting and applications
  • Provide support and updates to existing reports and applications
  • Maintain a GIS (Geographic Information System) including utilizing server, desktop and web applications to provide spatial analysis and reporting
  • Ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, reliability and realistic implementation schedule for each project

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Diploma of Technology or equivalent job experience as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of database data structure design and implementation
  • Strong understanding of requirements analysis, design, coding and testing of scalable, distributed reporting and web applications
  • Strong understanding of object oriented programming and MVC design
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, .NET Core, C# and version control software
  • Experience with Azure, IIS, SSRS, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, Git, Powershell, REST API, web development, Vista by Viewpoint, or Yardi is considered an asset
  • Ideally you will have related work experience in finance and logistical operations
