MGUG is thrilled to announce an exciting change to our Annual MGUG Award!
Instead of having one award per year, we will now have two to recognize outstanding contributors to our community at different times in their careers.
MGUG Lifetime Achievement Award:
Recognizes an outstanding individual with a long career of meaningful contributions to the Manitoba GIS Community. This can be someone who is retired, retiring or actively working.
MGUG Outstanding Project or GIS Team Award:
Recognizes an outstanding project or GIS team in the current year. The project should be completed between the last conference and the current one. Projects must have significant GIS or Geomatics component. An abstract of the project will be published on www.mgug.ca.
Please note: We judge the nominee solely on what you submit to us, and do not take any previous knowledge of the individual/project/team into consideration when judging. Please do not assume that we will know certain things about the nominee and ensure that you include all pertinent information in your nomination. You may self-nominate for Projects or Teams, but not for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominations close September 15, 2018.
Please fill out and submit this form to info@mgug.ca.
