7:00 – Overview of OSM editing tools -(web based vs others!)

7:15 – update from Missing Maps

7:30 – update from the Northern mapping initiative

7:45 – Stats Canada’s update on their plans

8:00 – OSM mapping stuff! (Missing maps, Northern mapping, Statistics Canada)

9:00 – “refreshing beverages” at yellow dog (next to sksp)

This will be the first of MGUG’s OSM map nights! We’ll be discussing and editing open street maps, and playing with  other open source software. It’ll be a flexible night where the agenda isn’t set in stone if something interesting comes up. Come learn and discuss OSM OR anything comes up! We’ll try the third Monday at each month in various venues. Bring your Laptop or Tablet for editing! Light snacks will be available.
