The MGUG - Newsletters

- Welcome to the very first newsletter from the Manitoba GIS User Group (MGUG). We are very excited to make this new resource available to our members. The newsletter will be sent out several times a year and will contain news on MGUG activities and Manitoba GIS and Geomatics related events, news, projects, reviews, tips & tricks, etc. The MGUG Newsletter - Volume 1, Issue 1

MGUG is looking for interesting articles to be included in the upcoming newsletter. Suggested categories include:

• Book review on any GIS/Geospatially related topic
• Made in Manitoba examples of GIS as it relates to environment, planning, engineering, surveying, or any other topic that incorporates geospatial information
• “Tips and Tricks” – provide a short lesson on GIS and/or other 3rd party software solutions
• Any other GIS/Geospatial topic of interest you wish to share with fellow MGUG Members

If you have any other ideas besides the above, we would like to hear from you. Please submit ideas and/or potential articles and photographs/illustrations to MGUG Editor Ariel Lupu. Also, please submit a portrait photograph of yourself for the article.
